How to report problems and make sure something is done about it?
Use TBP Mantis.

1. Before you report a problem, take a look at existing reports. If there is already a report about this particular problem, post a note there instead of creating a new report.

2. When creating a problem report, make sure you select an appropriate category and type a descriptive subject for the report. Don't forget to make the actual report as detailed as possible.

3. Add any relevant information along with detailed bug description. Always mention version of TBP Base and campaign or mission pack (where applicable). Also always mention what fs2_open and/or fred2_open builds you used, if the builds in question came with TBP Base, it's enough to mention that much. Command lines should also be mentioned, open the Launcher, open Features tab and copy&paste everything from the top textbox which starts with installation folder.

4. If you want to post attachments along with a report, you can upload .gz, .zip and .rar files, but no bigger than 250 kB in size. Please do not upload attachments needlessly.

Special note to Beta Testing forum. Please always remember to mention where and when you got the beta or experimental content you are making a report about. Including an url in the report to the particular Beta Testing forum thread is always a good idea.
