alternate explanation:  they DID read your resume, decided they are interested, and wanted to let you know that, but the classes are required for the position.  i.e., your shoe's already in the door.

I've run into a lot of people that just sort of glance at a couple parts of the resume before moving on to the next

Pulled my favorite cat's corpse out of my mother's pool today, about half an hour ago. Absolutely furious because my mother's sheer negligence is entirely at fault.

About two months ago, we found numerous squirrel corpses in the pool, I told her we should drain the pool since we haven't used it in years but she sort of ignored me. Then, cut to earlier, I realize that I haven't seen this cat in over a day, which is odd for him. I went out on the front porch to look for him, another one of our cats was on the deck near the pool, he started coming over to me. Then while walking on the side of the pool about halfway, he looked at something in the pool and stopped. That's when I realized that the other cat had probably been walking along the side of the pool and fallen in. Surely enough, I got the pool net, pulled a mass I saw in the pool towards me, and found the body of said cat. My mother's excuse for not draining the pool? "There's no hole at the bottom." ****ing idiot.

Now I most want to get away from her even more, but poverty has sort of outplayed me.

I knew this would happen too. I was just thinking about a couple of weeks ago about how likely this sort of thing was to happen.

EDIT: Sorry, I probably shouldn't have posted this. I just needed to rant.

Well I have been gone for a while, haven't I? I should probably change my description. :P But to make a very long story short, I am seeing psychologists that specialise in my... issues. In other news, my studies have taken me to learn programming. FRED will be my slave soon. Nothing will stop me now that I have an old school Joystick. I shall return.

PS: Alien:Isolation is frightening as **** on your first run. Finally, a non spammy Xenomorph game!

Awesome game. The concept intrigued me so much that I rebuilt my aging computer just to be able to play it.

I think I just invented instant battery charging:
Just install a capacitor into the device (car, phone, whatever) and dump the full battery capacity into that, and then you can just charge the battery by drawing from the capacitor at whatever rate is most efficient while the device itself draws from that!

I am definitely not an electrical engineer, but I'm still sure that there are several very good reasons why this is a terrible idea :D
