How the hell does the shivans/vasudans reproduce?!

the vasudans appear to have no genitalia...
either the shivans...(i'm suspicious about their beam cannons, do these actually fire 'beams', or it's something else?)

Maybe even more than 2 sexes (much more likely in the shivans case.) Of course they could have a hive way or doing it, or even a fish way or doing it. It's not like you can really compare either to any definition we have of form or function of reproducing. There are lots of mammals which have rather concealed... plumbing, until aroused. Not to mention the many many different ways of reproducing among other biological families (besides mammalia).

Apparently it's folded in some skin fold for performance reasons, not sexual performance but speed and agility underwater. :P So maybe the Vasudans have it some similar way, because they must somehow combine DNA to reproduce or maybe they have no female Vasudans, I can't ever remember meeting one in any of the two games. Maybe they're like earthworms, can swap gender as they like and reproduce like fish, no need for humping. Hmm.

I saw a nice video of killer whales. A group of young Orcas would attack a school of fishing, drive them to shallow water and eat them all. And they had a huge hard-on all the time.

And yes, I've also seen pics of dolphin's dicks. Most mammals have penis bones, even most primates. Humans don't, and some have humorically speculated that it could have use in female's decision whether the partner is suitable to have sex with or not. If a male has erection problems -> no sex. Well, yeah they don't have huge schlongs hanging out all the time. None of whales swim around and slap their buddies with their dooders, the events where young Orca males brag with their penises are exceptional and I do not know their purpose. All whales do have an opening for genitalia, of course, and it's quite often visible.

Every mission sounds like a guy vasudan voice file, and in the default pilot picture, they are all guys, from the looks of it. Unless the vasudans cross dress...

the concave part of their back is at the pelvis, and s for the crossdressing thing... well, vasudans dont dress.

Also some vasudans in some missions (ex "A flaming sword") do sound female through the translator.

 Well good point. Through the transilator, you cant hear their real voice. Its all animated, so we cant tell by thetransilator. So thats out..
