It's just a temporary setback. Scroll will come out of hibernation later this year.
yeah... Projects hibernate... they don't die... they just hibernate... forever.

Enough work has been done in the past on SA to make at least some form of release practical. When it restarts, I mean to see that only practical and achievable goals are included in order to ensure a quality release that does not take another century to complete.

Comments like this could result in banning. I trust Goober5000 and Admiral Nelson, they're far more mature than most community members, so if they say that SA will come out from hibernation I believe them.
Shiv, you work for both Inferno mods. IMO we're a good example of an hibernated mod that came back to life... :)

I don't think that comment is ban-worthy, but I also didn't think I needed to point out that less than a month ago I co-released a campaign that went through several periods of "hibernation"...

How does that comment cause offense?

"Hibernate... forever" and "die" are pretty much the same thing, IMO.
Also, Goober is right in mentioning Silent Threat: Reborn. *reminds fs2freak88*

I'm pretty sure shiv didn't mean that SA would die by that comment. I'm sure he was simply saying that SA would simply hibernate indefinitely until revived by someone. You of all people should understand the language barrier here.
-
Shiv was generalizing...
And generalizing is a bannable offense?
As I said there's a serious language barrier here; Shiv doesn't speak good English at all and he was trying to say something which was understood as something else. Calling for him to be banned for something he didn't actually mean to say would likely hurt the progress of all the mods he works on for no reason whatsoever.
Anyway let's stop this pointless discussion... Does anyone else notice how when a board gets archived there's always some kind of random discussion about it?
-
If you say so.

Meh.
Split and locked. Resume discussion in the original thread, please.
