Fighter3 is some of the most awesome music I've ever heard in a game.
[16:57] <CommanderDJ> What prompted the decision to split WiH into acts?
[16:58] <battuta> it was long, we wanted to release something
[16:58] <battuta> it felt good to have a target to hit
[17:00] <RangerKarl> not sure if talking about strike mission, or jerking off
[17:00] <CommanderDJ> WUT
[17:00] <CommanderDJ> hahahahaha
[17:00] <battuta> hahahaha
[17:00] <RangerKarl> same thing really, if you think about it

Holy camoly!

Thank you guys. Can't wait to produce more tracks to make the second chapter of War in Heaven a rock hard experience for you. :)

Thank you also The E and the rest of the team for posting this.

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
The first one would fit right in with the music of the X games (especially Terran Conflict).
Not that it resambles any particular song, but the style is very similar, which is a good thing, since I love the soundtracks of the X games

All 3 were great!
I really like the first one though. Perfect fit for the mood of BP.
Sounds like music for BP will be as stunning as ever.

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
Me like

The music score is one of the reasons Blue Planet plays so well.

Your contribution will definitely further that.

IMHO Fighter 3 could use a little longer buildup/intro before the guitars kick in. What is already has is awesome, Jeremy Soul style. It just needs a more gradual transition.

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
The first music and the third one will combine perfectly for the "waiting then battle" process (like the first mission in WIH, after the destruction of the fighters, we have some calm music, with conversations, and then I was asking myself : when will the ennemy arrive  Then "Apocalypse" begins to play, as well as the battle. It was a truly epic moment.

CAN'T WAIIIT !!!

Thank you Belisarius

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
Those are awesome; hats off to Belasarius. I'm glad you guys are going for origional music in future parts; the music you used in R1 fit amazingly but it always felt a bit wrong to use ripped music. Was my one sole criticism of BP (which as far as i'm concerned was beyond words in its greatness).

Shall have to watch this space. :)

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
Argh! It's Belisarius ;)

I'm doing all this in my free time and I'm not sure if we can make it to replace all copyrighted tracks with selfmade productions, but I'll try my best, I promise!

Thanks again.

Re: In space, everyone can hear you ROCK
Third Track 2:35 to 2:45 is the best part for me.

The third track sounds like it belongs to a cinematik?

It's abso****inglutely awful. Pacing, people, pacing! Too slow for fighters, too fast for capitals.

Works where it belongs. All the music was designed for specific scenes.

In that case, I reserve judgment until release. :P

Yes, when you'll tell us it's awful because you've already committed to it.  :(
