Title: The News Ticker Thread

Props to BW for the idea

Got a hot news tip or bit of small news that may not require a huge highlight? Post in this thread to nominate something! The Admins, Global Moderators and Moderators will then throw the news up on the ticker for a few weeks before being retired.

(People who are able to post news: see this handy diagram (http://lazymodders.fsmods.net/files/postnews.png) to find the news center on SMF)

Please only report news items, no discussion for the news items here. Go to the linked thread to discuss the amazing things happening.
