Hey, I have seen and reported 2 threads that look like bot submissions

The first one reads an awful lot like Battuta, and the second seems to be a reference to the first. I don't think these are bots.

The only Markov bot I have experience with is from an IRC channel, and its responses are mostly stuff like "penis in salad is actually called the careers." Actually, that's one of its more legible statements. Here's an actual conversation with it:

The required volume, response times and message locality of IRC seriously degrades the quality. Besides, IRC bots are normally hobbyist projects, and they're funnier when they make no sense. The serious ones are leagues beyond them.
