Re: Assassins Creed Black Flag FREE
Maybe i should try the series finally, because i got all the first 6 ACs (AC1-4 and Brotherhood&Revelations) for free, now  :D

But actually.. this one lacks some Space Ships :( Even Origins does not feature some Aliens that uses the Pyramids for landing platforms

Re: Assassins Creed Black Flag FREE
Is it worth signing up for Uplay bull**** for this?

Re: Assassins Creed Black Flag FREE
Uplay is been getting less and less bull**** over time so mabye??? For me the biggest issue with Uplay was not so much it's existence but that you had to use it even if you bought the game on steam. As a standalone thing it's not too bad these days (and I really should start making a thread about steam being bad).

Also it's widely considered to be the best assassin's creed game, you get to be a pirate with your own ship!

"Widely" may be debateable - Ezio's trilogy (AC2 + Brotherhood + Revelations) still holds that distinction to many.

But it is one of the games that best shows the good and bad of the series.

Also, if you don't sing along to the sea chanties while out on the ocean you are playing it wrong :D

Yes, for free.

I played Black Flag just a few weeks ago. It's very good. The story is a lil' meandering but the characters are wonderful; you'll be sick to death of the staple Assassin's Creed gameplay loops (collect all the X, climb all the Y, oh my god these parkour controls are infuriating, tailing missions FUUCK) by the end, but you also get a wonderful, atmospheric pirate simulator complete with upgradable ship and legendary ship bosses.

It's been years since I played Black Flag... maybe I should finally finish it.

<MageKing17> How did this code ever work in the first place!?

Wow ... just ... have a picture of Michelangelo's David

In all seriousness because of the exposure advantage Ezio has (3 games instead of 1) it really boils down to taste; I like my Reinaissance Italy, Joshua likes his Golden Age of Piracy.

Re: Assassins Creed Black Flag FREE
I love the atmosphere and level design in these games, but find the basic AC gameplay irritating and not fun at all to play. The repetitive combat and fiddly controls combined with the lack of save games just got on my nerves. I really liked AC2 for the story and atmosphere but haven't played any of the games since then.
