I was 285lbs, down to 215lbs.

Though I did manage 30lbs of that by just being too poor to afford food for a month. Which was hilarious....

Nothing all that terrible about that.  Why be sad about the weight loss?  Or are you saying you wish that wasn't how you lost it?

Look at it this way: Loosing that much weight will help you live longer, so in that respect it really was in your best interest to "do it".

@Swantz, I wish it wasn't the trigger. But I am also a christian. So yeah...
I still have one more HIV test because I performed unprotected oral sex on a prostitute. I did start going to counseling as well, which has been wonderful for me. I am attending a wonderful church and am happier than I have been in a very long time.

@Kosh, I know, and that is why I ask if I would do it all over again if I were back at that point. And yeah, I was a miserable person. Deep in self loathing. But thank you so much for the congrats.
