Turn off simulated speech?

I was wondering if there was a way to keep the normal briefing voices on the main campaign, but to turn off the simulated speech (or whatever it is called where Microsoft reads the text for you) for when you get to the last page of the briefing and any other pages with text that do not have voices recorded (such as the Tech Room).

Yes there is an option in the launcher to do that.  Look under the speech tab. 
No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes. -Zathras
