Hi to everybody !!!
First of all, the work around Freespace SCP is truly AMAZING :yes: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'm not new to this game ................................... some years ago I tried it, .... but I didn't liked very much (SORRY) the fact that I found the fighters a bit too slow ......... and I left it ....
Is there some mods with the fighters a little more fast, that someone wants to suggest me ?
( I have already noted "Dimensional Eclipse", very fast fighters, ....... but I would like to know if there are some more related to Freespace universe ).

I can second that DE is great for fast combat. I know someone made a "velocity mod" that raised the velocity of all the default FS2 ships and capships and (I think) moved around ships in the campaign to make the timing work right. I don't know if that mod is available anywhere or how well it works.

I searched from your clue ......... and there are at least 3 mods about adding speed to the game :
- Velocity Mod by Sushi (change practically only speed)
- Joshua's RealFlight Mod (also add inertia)
- Fast Mod by Thesizzler (change several things)

But we have to see how the AI handle the changes .............................................

But I had also read several favorable comments about these mods (.... at least for the first two).
I think that I'll try the first or the second, and I'll make you know.
IMO the low speed is the defect of Freespace. I really think that with higher speed the game would be a lot more interesting, practically flawless (with an AI that act well to the change, of course) (and I would not have ceased to play it).

Sushi worked very heavily on Diaspora to resolve a lot of those AI bugs. I don't know how many of them are fixed in his older mod.

See, that's why I suspect he's just Vik Thor et al in disguise, everything from his syntax to his opinions is just too similar to be a coincidence.
Anyway, I think that's enough fun with him; If it turns out he really is the same person, then he's still guilty of ad hominem against an Administrator, that's certainly a nono. If he isn't, well, his opinions are certainly not going to be all that popular (Noone tell him about Wings of Dawn or BP, he might get an aneurysm!); so either he's going to provide some amusement or become bored and move on.

Have you ever tried to reason with insanity? Just imagine The Joker not being painted, but being a misogynistic lunatic instead. Should be spot on. People don't need a reason, even many sane people just do whatever they feel like doing. No matter how ridiculous.
Edit: Adding to that, the main motivation for trolling that way usually is making up for a tiny ego and the delusion that being an returning and therefore "unbannable" undesirable person holds a twisted form of power. The power of annoying other people no less, but that way that at least get a shred of attention. If that indeed is an admin in disguise, the argument still stands. But there'd be added personality twists, that whoever admin might have done this, was deliberately trying to vent frustration because he needs to keep his **** together as acting contributor who is looked upon by the community. And that concludes this short psychological lecture. The professors would be proud.

Let's just imagine what you say is true. All the women you have contact with, may their number be 0 or 500, like you. That doesn't make anything you say any less chauvinistic. Let's also just imagine that you are indeed sexually dominant. That means that you will ultimately only seek contact to those of the other sex that are willing to indulge your desires by being sexually submisse. Let's go one degree higher and imagine that you are also part of the BDSM subculture, which represents a more or less closed circle of people that prefer to keep to themselves, because most normal people reduce them to their sexual practices and therefore perceive them to be sick perverts. You probably should read less Nietzsche. The guy's great, but he also did spout a huge amount of things that cannot be taken too seriously. Not to mention that fascist forces just 70 years ago tried and succeeded to abuse some of his less senseful thoughts in favour of their ridiculous genocidal crusade. But hey, if you indeed are German as I would suspect, I can point you in some very good directions where you'll probably find a lot of people you would claim to be "real men". There's two particularly good pick up and BDSM boards you probably would love. Just ask and I shall deliver.
