I'm honestly amazed that this campaign is apparently still being worked on. But in the latest version, 2.0.2, I can't seem to use the target monitor box in the lower left corner of the screen. Is this supposed to happen or do I need to do something? It's kind of awkward to play without it.

Also, sometimes I can target ships on my escort list but I can't actually see the escort list. Not sure what that's about.

Always had the impression that any limited HUD gauge in the Unification War is actually a feature to show the technical advancements in-universe.

So that ships simple does not have a Target Monitor then...

My guess at least.

It's a little confusing because it was there in the original version. And also in the new version I can target ships from the beginning while in the original version it takes like half a dozen missions or so before you're allowed to do that.

I didn't like how in the original for a few missions you couldn't target anything and then magically you get the full fs2 sensor suite working. Thus in the rewrite I changed the sensors to gradually get better.

If a man consults whether he is to fight, when he has the power in his own hands, it is certain that his opinion is against fighting.

That was a writing thing where they were playing up the new avionics thing they were developing at earth, and it was this whole giant defense program the other nations couldn't afford to develop on their own, so they don't get it until they are delivered ships that already have it fully working.
