I have some user made ships and most of them show up fine in the techroom, however the ones that are flagged as capital show up as teeny tiny ships.  What gives?  I removed the capital flag but they are still teeny tiny.

Add back the capital flag and experiment with the $Closeup_Pos:

To clarify, Closeup Pos should be roughly the largest dimension of the ship (usually its length). Play with it until it 'feels' right.
