is there a soluce or a module or something eles ( ? )  for reduce the speed of the game ?

i know the natural speed is *1 but i would reduce more than this.

well i do believe there is a time compression option . That might be usefull but i'm not exactly sure. I never used it. try the options menu regarding the game there should be something there!

1) Is everything running too fast cause you have time compression on or is it just that you want to play the game at a slower pace for some other reason?

2) It is possible to reduce the speed below 1x. IIRC you have to turn the cheats on to do it and then use the standard time compression keys to make the game run slower.

may be i am not a super brain user but i assume

how can exactly active cheat mode ?
actually, i do :
1 - i am in the game on a level
2 - i try to tape on the keyboard www.freespace2.com

... and nothing on the screen

PS : i want to play slowlier because my son has ten years old and the speed is a problem for him on a 3 GHZ
( and for me too, hum hum ...)

Type www.freespace2.com while holding down the ` key (underneath the Escape key)
too  activate cheats.
Time compression, hold Shift and press comma , . Time accelleration hold shift and press . full stop.

i suppose i understood my problem to find cheat code :

i've got an european keyboard and the word to insert is not the same !

W in us keyboard is Z on an european, etc, ....
is anybody know how can i have the point ?
