In another post, you mentioned that the issue with the Aeolus and Sobek not firing their heavy beams in "Their Finest Hour" would be fixed.  Could you tell me if this is the case?  And when is the next release of the pack?

yes, that is already fixed in my WIP version.  The Sobek's course also need to be changed so that its capship beams bear on the Shivan vessels.
I am again out of the country on one of my interminable business trips.  I should get more out mid February.

Some of the TSM-10x.fs2 mission files do not have the ;;FSO declarations in front of the LSNebulae settings like other mission files.

I'm working on them because I noticed that they do not have the special condition of terminating the module like the first one "TSM-103c"(traning-1.fs2) when/if you fire repeatedly on the instructor.

When I am finished on correcting, would others like them to be part of main? (Naturally, I'm testing in Retail and SCP.)

So far, all of these are probably extremely trivial and don't really "fix" anything (but at least they also do not break anything!), but were more of a "I noticed them, they bugged me, I made them go away".

I'm still working on the training missions, because their behaviour is not entirely consistant. In the first one, you get yelled at if you don't match speed the first time, but any other objective you can just sit on and do nothing. Also, once it clears you to return to base, it doesn't care if you fire on the instructor, which should still be on if you have not left yet.

I am a tad leary about overly modifying these away from the original mission files, but I _am_ ensuring that any changes that I make also work under retail. (Which, let me tell you, makes me appreciate running the SCP +MediaVP's the more I test.)

Indeed. The LS Nebs simply rock.

I also noted in the other training missions, Admiral Nelson, that TSM's 104-106 do not have the ::FSO tags for their nebulae or skybox entries.

I've corrected mine, as I'm still trying to get the "shoot the instructor, fail the mission" stuff to work in all of them.

Newb question, where do I put these files?

Edit: Nevermind... Took a while but I found the right files (the nebula files) and got them working in the missions.

what? like ignoring command's order to not to attack the freighters and then get turned in the thing beyond ashes by a friendly beam cannon?

I think the reason why the corvette thingys don't fire beam cannons is because command used great war-era thingys.

but I like them firing their beam cannnons to.

After m2258734a finishes the stars seen in FS2 there will be an update.

For the problem with Their Finest Hour, Why not use the Beam Ships all by default?
