How odd, I never noticed a FPS drop during WiH. At all.
Not during the Solaris appearance, not during Delenda Est.

And my computer isn't awesome, either. Miracles?

Depends what resolution/settings you're playing at.

1080p, P8600 C2Duo 2.4GHz, No AA/AF, maxed in-game settings, Mobility 3650HD (OC'd to 590c/790m) runs fine (40s-80s) until delenda est, at which point frames can drop to the 20s, which is still somewhat playable. Intro is also slow at 20s-30s.

I'm guessing the people having the most trouble have lesser graphics cards, or are using AA/AF. (I can't be bothered to force through CCC)

Damn, I got to try this out right away. The fps drop and resulting clunky controls were actually one of the main reasons I thought this campaign was hard as steel(e).

I'm getting the exact same performance or sometimes even worse...
I'm pretty sure all my drivers up to spec.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Scratch what I just said.

Checked the FPS.
It seems I do get a boost, just not as much as I hoped.

As for system specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz, 4GB RAM
I've maxed almost all settings, reducing AA/AF doesn't help much though.

FPS is pretty consistent with antipodes, 60 for most, 30 for missions with Karuna.

Goes below 10 when there are several ships, opening cutscene or delenda est, if I don't reduce texture settings.

Depends what resolution/settings you're playing at.

1280x1024, Core 2 Duo 4300  @1.8 GHz with all the AA and AF a GeForce 8600 can cram into it. All at a steady fluid (but not exactly 60) FPS.
So I say miracles.

1280x1024 isn't that high. Also, AF/AA is broken unless you force it through nVidia's driver panel.

Oh, and an 8600 isn't terrible. It's upper-mid from last generation, isn't it?

I can manage by pretty well too, it just makes playing Delenda Est hard if I crank everything up.

Antipodes makes it better though, so I guess I have no reason to complain.

AF worked through the Launcher the last time I checked. AA has to be forced with drivers.
