Because BP is more a campaign than a mod with new stuff. Other hosted projects have a modpack as base and a campaign as additional boost.

I agree with you although BP is less "MOD-ish" than other projects hosted here. It would be beautiful to have more BP related campaigns and come out with a new FS universe(like in Inferno).

Ah, but the Port^TM makes "FS1" campaign creation so much easier. Therefore a board is justified.

As for Blue Planet, well, the models and such may not be new, but egad the textures are fantastic. Compare the Raynor to the one in ITHOV and you'll see. And it is highly popular. Just take the release thread itself. It makes pistol whip of any other release thread in the Missions and Campaigns board.

Hopefully this will make finding fixes to bugs easier, as well as being a way to document what problems people come across that doesn't get lost in one giant thread.

Oh..and also for discussion without fear of taking the release thread off-topic :)

I got the impression people were agianst a BP Forum.

All i'm getting at is that If BP is hosted sitewise, a forum should be gratis. Like ....umm, *mindgames and port. There's no
difference :nervous:

:wtf: No. At least that's not what I meant. We have FSPort. It enables us to use FS2/FSO to play the legendary FS1 campaign. It also makes it easy for people to create campaigns taking place around FS1, since it provides the models, tables 'n ****. That way people like 0rph3u5 can release campaigns instead of bigass mods including models, textures and such.
