After i failed few times in mission M22-1, i used "advance to next level" option.
unfortunately, in next mission (m22-2),me and my wingmans are dead from the beginning, and i can't do anything.
Is there anything i can do to solve it?

The red alert missions in freespace are buggy and I regret ever using them.
http://www.mediafire.com/?ozz3p5e02wb8gec if you download and then throw this in your WoD folder you'll start the mission with a briefing. Giving you the option to replace the last mission (M22-1). You need to properly play through the whole mission for the next mission to work (you can invul cheat your way through though)

Kinda sad how Red-Alert is buggy seeing as it's...retail.

Wasn't red alert buggy even IN retail?

Hence Droid803s comment two posts above yours.

Any idea if the new pilot code that's in the work might have an impact on that bug?

it probably would, but it unfortunately has (or introduces?) some other bugs which still need squashing...
