Re: What are you playing right now?
I know, right?  I felt the same way playing Tiberium Wars and the Kane's Wrath expansion.  Hmm, I might have to play through those again.

I'll have to get my hands on those sometime.

EDIT: I've heard Tiberium Wars was the best of the series. Did I hear right?

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move." - Captain America

Re: What are you playing right now?
Coolness!  I've been wanting to try the new wolfenstein, but I'm concerned about the steep system requirements.  My video card can handle it I think (GTX480), but my Core 2 Duo is several generations older than the Core i7 that I saw was "required".   I'm afraid to plop down $60 for a game that will require $500 in upgrades to play it.  :)
Maybe someday God will give you a little pink toaster of your own.

pretty much.  especially if you are talking about the tiberium series only (as opposed to generals and red alert).

damn, i was all ready to start a new backlog game, but now this discussion has put me in the CnC mood.

Football Manager 2014.

Wanderers FC was doing a great job under my leadership, then we went up against Brisbane Roar and promptly re-enacted the Hyundai A-League Grand Final from a few weeks ago. Dangit.

Good to know. Having only played the earlier games I preferred the Tiberium line for it's story. Red alert was a little too silly (the humor sorta reduced the fun of saving the world/blowing stuff up) and Generals just didn't have much story to speak of.

Re: What are you playing right now?
I've picked up Dark Souls 2 again ... my worst enemy is gravity (seriously I die more from falling off things than from any non-boss enemy; cost me even 7k souls last night)

ps. also miss the days when there were good DoW2-pick up games to be had

EDIT: I've heard Tiberium Wars was the best of the series. Did I hear right?

Yes and no ... if you don't like the AI cheating (a lot) it is, if you do maybe not
