No-one lives forever 2 plot as a short movie
How many of you guys have played No-One Lives Forever 2? If you haven't you are missing something. It was what I think one of the last really innovative shooters, game play elements probably not that revolutionary. It is the setup and humor which makes this great.

Game is bundled with crazy idle dialogue, the director of the bad guys being "a sissy with a target pistol", and whose mother harasses him by calling all the time. From Indian crime league illegally importing candy all the way to Soviet Union bureaucracy - I think somebody supposedly got shot because of not filling all the necessary documents for the request of toilet paper that ran off three months ago. The evil lair was outfitted with substance that looks like molten lava, but a lot cheaper and not as hot...

There is also Sean Connery look-a-like as a temporary director of the good guys, and a trigger happy Yankee general betting for WWIII. Also included are the Mime King assassin whose underlings tend to explain everything using mime (usually failing miserably) and a Russian bad guy who uses a rocket launcher equipped wheel chair, not to mention your stereotypical Scotsman Armstrong.

In the game Cate fights a ninja using swords inside a house that was just ripped in the air by a tornado (!), and there is also slowest chase ever shown in any game, a tricycling Armstrong carrying Cate chasing unicycling Mime King (you gotta see/play this to believe it). The bad guys punish their underlings by turning them into man-crates or to help their depression and so on.

And it all works. By the rule of cool. And the actors have a deadpan delivery on all their dialogue, except the guy who forgets his lines and watches the camera. Somebody has collected all the cut scenes of the game, totaling to about 45 minutes of movie. And I think it is sufficiently coherent to watch and enjoy. There are five parts, the first one can be found at:

I support the idea in the topic from the bottom of my heart.

Actually, I wouldn't mind having the first one as a movie either.

Cool! I totally loved the NOLF series, reminded me of austin powers except better. Would be cool if there was a 3rd game.

if there is any consistancy with the Shivans, it's their lack of consistancy - -Norbert-

The question in my mind is, should I have posted this to General Discussion rather than here?
