Now that I have achieved supremacy, I will hereby state the rules for continued peace and harmony on this forum. Obey, and you will be blessed with safety and continued membership. Rebel, and you shall come to ph33r my wrath.
1) As some of you have noticed, HLP now has a dungeon pr0n forum. All former administrators shall be required to enter auditions of themselves in said forum, on pain of death or perma-banning, whichever is most convenient.
2) All the inactive hosted projects will be required to demonstrate significant progress within the next hour. Failure to meet the deadline will result in the forum's deletion* along with the rest of the HLP rot.
3) Moderator and administrator positions will be available to selected peons, selected on a case-by-case basis.
4) I reserve the right to add rules to this post without further notice.
*Or, perhaps, opening to public viewing.

Actually, they would. They usually are th'ones behind th'AFD jokes here.
The forums disappearin' are simple t'fix. They simply unhide th'forums, an' everythin' will be aft t'normal. SCP files are on another site, anyway, as are all th'other download links t'every other campaign.
If ye don't believe me, NW an' GTD Wolf were still accessible after they were closed down, though th'post counts suffered with their closing.
And, just in the event that you were panicking, the Campaigns forum is still there. SCP is the only forum that got deleted out of the Freespace section.

The thin' is, this community lives an' dies by its forum. Unfortunately, real or not, th'damage done today may be too great t'fix. Oh, and the forums are gone. Post counts wouldn't be decrimenting if they were just being hidden.

Unless restored, the campaign will most likely be postponed indefinately.

Just received email from Gamespy which states that HLP will be turned into planetbritneyspearsdancingsim.com tomorrow. All FTP databases/MOD files not appropriate for tomorrow's new site will be deleted (i.e. all our files).

I would have hoped that any password for the sole (spare the Announcements/ HoJ) admin user would be something a bit more sensible than could be taken from a dictionary file (i.e. alphanumeric alternating case password); so I doubt an0n could hack in anyways, even if he tried.

And just to reassure everyone worried about hosted project forums, we have a full backup from March 31st waiting to be restored. GS is being nice and responsive about our dynamic4 FTP password issue, and I expect to have things resolved.... err, in 12+ hours (next time I'm back home - a man's gotta work, y'know!).
Meantime, uhh.... get to know one another better! Yeah! Or FRED. FREDding's always good. :D
