Title: How do i win?

I have been trying this out recently and I'm enjoying it greatly. I have a noob-level question - apologies in advance. How do you win a fleet battle against the A.I.? I think I have destroyed all the enemy units but I the skirmish hasn't ended. Is there something else I need to do, or is it the time honored RTS trope of 'that one last tiny unit hiding out somewhere you have to hunt down?'  :lol:
