Does anyone know how to get new tech entries for Blue Planet war in heaven? Im digging into the game files and found entries for Simms, that Vasudan transmission, and other entries I dont think Ive ever seen.
Im wondering how can i unlock em or if I can get em into the database myself.

Don't they appear in the database accessible through the campaign mission screens? Not the normal techroom.

How can you acess it via the campaign mission screens? I dont see a button for the database on my end. (I'm asumming this is the breifings right?)

Do you have Age of Aquarius or War in Heaven selected as your active campaign? I don't think the normal/FSBlue mainhall has a database option. (Also Ctrl-Shift-S usually unlocks everything for viewing--Be warned, there lurk spoilers).

War in heaven is selected as my active campaign. Im not sure why the database isnt updating.

Hmm, are you sure your BP install is up to sate? Where’d you get it from?

Cntl-shift -s only unlocks the ships seen in the tech room. It has no effect on the database section of war in heaven on my end.

Its been a while but I believe i got it from the Freespace open installer. But this was around september of 2016. Im not sure if my BP complete is up to date or not.

So at what point am I supposed to get new entries for the database. I just met Simms in the act 1 level with the meridian mission but Simms profile doesn't show.
Also laporte's entries still don't update like in age of aquarious .

Hey general, so far Ive unlocked the unknown device schematics entry somehow. Im going through War in heaven pt 2 so I figured the entries unlock in that part instead. However im not getting anything so far.
I want to try to unlock em myself by other means. Is their like a table file or something that handles the database entries? I like to set all the avaliable entries to unlock.

Yup. I got nothing.
Im going through some of the files now and see there are this PXO configutation template file named
-journal_bp2_dossiers.cfg
-journal_bp_intel.cfg
Figured I try to edit em via notepad. I put in simms's entry as "true" instead of "false" and saved the file in separate config folder. But nothing works.
Is there a better way to edit the .cfg files and implementing it?
Edit: Never mind, I found a way to unlock the entries. Ignore.
