Hello all,

So recently I have done many uninstall/install/updates to my FreeSpace Open files because of issues that keep popping up. I've managed to fix most of them, but no matter what, I am unable to change the resolution.

On the Launcher (I'm using 5.5g), I can set the resolution to anything. Normally I set it to 1920x1080, and that is even reflected on the registry tab. However, as soon as I run the game, it changes my resolution to 800x600.  I have looked up many threads about this on these forums, but none of the solutions that I have seen have fixed my problem.

Can somebody please help? This is very frustrating, and I'd like to keep my FreeSpace graphics up to date. ^^

Err, um... well this is embarrassing. I had been working on this for hours. I did another clean install of FreeSpace, the installer, the works, and now it works ok.

Maybe something about having the GoG version rather than the original. I guess it did make that big of a difference.
