A Rather Shoddy Attempt at 3D Tyrian Models
About a month ago, I went through Jason Cook's remastered Tyrian sprites resource and, on a whim, decided to make some simple 3D models out of them. So far, I've only completed the SuperCarrot Foodship 9 and Companion Ship Warfly. The SuperCarrot is more or less complete with simple shaders and fractal bump-maps; the Warfly has simple shaders, but I cannot bring myself to UV texture it. A Stalker is currently being modelled at an excessively slow pace.

After looking at this, I went to make a render of both ships in Photoshop. I had to create new bump-maps for the SuperCarrot due to some "technical issues".

This leaves the other two companion ships (Gerund and Quicksilver), the Gencore Phoenix/Maelstrom, the Gencore II, the Storm, the USP light fighter series, the Dragonhead, the Dragonwing and the Nort Ship Z. Add the Pretzel Pete Truck and Dragon if I'm feeling bold.

...yyyup.

Oh you still believe in fairy tales like Santa, the Easter Bunny, and free market competition principles?
