:p
Looks better

glow maps too? ;)
-
No, we're not going to use glowmaps, we're not using the SCP until it develops a bit further. We'll probably see the switch around the time that Exposition is released.
-
sweet... Alltough I would put something like a gun or beam openig in the middle of the claw-thingy.
-
the back section needs some more red, imho..

*dribble*

:)

some Yali screenshots, these were taken during a "simple" raid by a wing of Yalis on an Eris class corvette. The corvette didn't last long; and anyone on the team who's ever flown against a fully armed Eris (although I think I'm the only one foolish enough to do so) can tell you those things pack more anti-fighter firepower than even a Hecate.
Anyhow, enjoy.
A Yali bomber giving the corvette a full platter.

Numero dos
Glows are never a good sign, especially red glows. These bombers press on through the deadly anti-bomber fire.

More beams, mmm...
-
la ultima
The Eris returns the favor with a beam of its own, a bit late but better late than never.
-
That is one sweet bomber. Can you target those beam cannons like you can on the larger ship types?

Unfortunately yes, although it doesn't do you any good, those things are damn impossible to shoot out without a pair of Stiletto IIIs
-
A beam bomber. Damn stylish.
-
here's where you need that :jaw: smily...
Anyway, as for the glow maps, you can make them and include them without necessitating the source code; it is almost 100% backwards compatable right now and a lot of stuff can be added without upsetting table work or mission design.
-
While I'm not a fan of the ships class and specs (seems waay overpowered to me) I do like the design.
-
very nice... a bomber with beams, ilike a lot!

A wing of Yali's arrive and raise hell

A bit slow on that last turn, this is what happens if you don't know how to use countermeasures.
