Epic Games seems to be working on something that is not an FPS.

Fortnight.  Fort Night?

Looks like a minecraft clone - which is not a bad thing at all.

Indeed, it looks fun.  I hope i get transferred over, but i'll probably be on IB2 patches n content for a while.

Yeah, that looks far more like "zombie shooter" than "sandbox construction" to me.
