All you need to do is add Barry McGuire's Eve of Destruction as background music...

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
I think the NARR10 is just sets 1-6 compiled together?  The NARR10 pack will definately do the job.

LOL

Fine job on that one. I still can't play it, but I'm sure it looks splendid. I checked the VP and had a chuckle. Especially the last "what in the ..." voice is kinda ..., well, frustrated. Thanks for the memories.

Cheers,
Selectah

PS: IIRC, I released the original in an all-too-brief mission/campaign extravaganza once upon a blue moon. I checked out my age-old FS repository due to this thread and found some 30 odd VP'fied completely voiced campaigns, 'round 'bout half of them for FS1(!), such as a bug fixed Templar Campaign(!). I'm amazed that a) I actually found the CD's, and b) they were readable. Perhaps another extravaganza is due..

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
Very nice!
I remember downloading days of FS1 DEMO via telephone line....

I would like to play another mission from FS1 DEMO.
I forgot its title but the mission is secure Vasudan cargo depot.

Does anyone know the mission is already ported?
Where can I get that ported mission if it exists?

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
Small Deadly Space? The Darkness and the Light? Where Eagles Dare?

All the FS1 missions are ported, just not with SCP goodness...

Oh, hi, Hamano, didn't realise it was you. I like most of your stuff, 'specially the GTF Herc Mk III. How's everything going? ;)

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
Thanks Snail, the mission is "Small Deadly Space".
I downloaded FS1DEMO again from Volition's site and extracted mission files to confirm the title.

I found that "Small Deadly Space" was already ported in FSPort mission pack as a part of FS1 campaign.
And I managed to play it under SCP as single mission.

Thanks for porting.
However, I felt something different.
I remember oridinal DEMO mission takes more long minutes before attacking cargo.
I like this tension before battle and attending friendly fightres.
The ported one may be shortened this sequence, I guess.
I think this editting is from FS1 oridinal canpaign.
Not from porting.

Anyway, I recently working GTF Theseus.
Coming soon!

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
The missions in the FS1 Demo are slightly different from the ones in the actual FreeSpace: The Great War Main Campaign, which were ported. For instance, the mission Eve of Destruction had Anubis fighters and Amun bombers in the Demo, while the one in the Great War had only Anubis fighters.

That fighter looks interesting, I can see you're still doing well on FS2. ;)

Cool.  I remember seeing that from some time back.  Have you considered doing an HTL version of the Ticonderoga to match the new Fenris/Leviathan cruisers?

In that case, do you mind making high-texture maps for the Herc III.

I'm reading HTL documents on FS Wiki.
hmm....DDS format?
There may be many walls(^_^;)

I will try to Ticonderoga first, may be.

Re: RELEASE: The Eve of Destruction
On the topic of Eve of Destruction, in the FS1 demo, there was originally a planned planets system (that sucked as there was a black square around the planets) and EoD had a desert planet similar to the one in the first mission of FS2.
