Any chance of cleaning up the hosted sites drop down?  I updated the TVWP site today, and then noticed that both it and the WC project were invisible off the bottom of the page on my work laptop screen.  Quite a few of the links above these are completely broken (Freespace Universe Reference Project, Stealth), or link to long vanished projects such as Technological Superiority or Hard Light Array.  Is it possible to remove at least the dead links to increase the visibility of active projects?

Yes, that's the point.  Only the index remains of these sites.  There is no content accessible on them.

I think HLP would look much more professional if the Hosted/External Links menus were kept tidy and populated with only active, healthy projects. It looks kind of bad when you link to a site that hasn't been updated in 9 years (Yes, I'm talking about Technological Superiority). In my opinion, it's high time these dropdowns were updated.

Slightly relevant tangent: what is/was Imperial Alliance? A dead SW mod? What little information I've gleaned from their broken site has left me with a lot of curiosity but not much hope.

Yes, that is my point exactly.  Perhaps a drop down for 'Archived Projects' or such can be added separately.  Right now most of the hosted site links do not go to active projects.

Imperial Alliance was a source code mod using (i think) X Wing Alliance models and such.  It had its own coders who created a codebase distinct from that created by the SCP.  Someone is supposed to eventually see if there is anything in that codebase to merge into the SCP.

There is... but is wasn't added in a modular fashion.  Instead of adding things by tables or flags, they just hard-coded whatever they needed.  So it would be a real pain to untangle a proper feature.

Some nice features that IA has but SCP doesn't are the TIE Fighter style HUD radar (two radars instead of one), proper ship cloaking, and additional main hall rooms.

How about the old links?  Might I humbly suggest at least that we add something like "Archived Projects >" along the lines of how Sector Game appears in these drop downs.  The old projects will then be displayed to the right of the bar.  No site links wold be dropped, and people will not be confused about active and inactive projects any longer.

Might I unhumbly suggest if you want real change to go through the list and post the working, dead, and updated links as well as the needs archived ones?  I did it about a year ago - the needs archived ones.   Action will get you a lot farther then just asking for it to be cleaned up.
