I have made a working VP from the higher-quality FS1 music files that Nix received (thread here). However, I seem to be having trouble with uploading it to Fsmods.net. If anyone is able to host it for me, please let me know. The file size is 83 MB.

EDIT: The file that I uploaded earlier did not play the high-quality versions of the M9 battle tracks. I have corrected that and uploaded it here: http://www.freespacemods.net/download.php?view.834

Uh. I thought we already had a VP with the high quality stuff in it?

I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Yup, I'm fairly certain that we are already using the higher quality stuff.

We have one for FS2, but not FSPort. (If you don't believe me, go download the Warble file from the FSPort release thread and look inside the VP. None of the tracks are upgraded.) Nix attempted to make one, but failed. The one I made seems to work fine.

Should be new content for the next mv_fsport version, no?

Yup it would go in mv_fsport. I'll take a look for the next release.

For now, I have uploaded the file to MediaFire; the link is in the original post. If it shows up on FSMods or someone gets better hosting for it, I will change that link.

Bam.

Sorry that took so long.

EDIT: I've swapped the old file with the newer one you uploaded yarn. The original link still works fine.
