It's so funny to read that after yesterday's translation spree...
Seriously, no one said that the miniproject died. IM programs and PMs are enough to manage its progress - there's no need to use the forums.

As I've said, that's all I've seen. If there is stuff going on under the surface that's great but if no one bothers to post the slightest bit of evidence how is anyone to know that?

I agree.
Me and 134th have been proposing alternate versions of each other's edits in a reasonable way. If I was the only translator, the result wouldn't be as good as it is now. Translating strings isn't enough - the translation also needs to transmit the original FreeSpace feeling (not to mention the changes led by space constraints, Italian words are usually longer than their English counterparts). :)

I don't have to show anything to anyone. You don't see me posting updates/pictures on any of the following: Celebration of FreeSpace thread, Inferno board and NTV board. I do have stuff to show, but I'm not a big fan of pre-release mystery threads, teasers, trailers, etc. etc. I don't know if my modus operandi is correct (I have doubts), but that's how I behave.
That's why you won't see anything until me and 134th are done. :)

Fair enough but until someone proves that they have done something I'm going on the assumption that no one has. And I'm most certainly not basing any decisions on what translations we'll have based on that kind of non-information.
Mobius:
No doubt about that...
Richard:
I'm starting french translations...
Not easy but... =) No probs
