Hi guys,

New to this forum and the project, but I like what I've seen so far.  I did some searching of the forum but couldn't find anyone who had a similar problem.  On the mission "Enter the Dragon" I get no primary weapons at all.  All it allows me is a load of 10 interceptor missiles.  I'm completely clueless as to what to try, here, so any help would be great.  Thanks.

I'm pretty new to FS_open too, but I managed to cause this exact problem because of another mod's .vp file being in my main FS_Open folder and I think this may be the easiest way to cause this problem.

More specifically, I had the Ross 128 mission's .VP file (based on FS1 data) in my main fs_open directory when trying to run a FS2-based mod.  I'm guessing here, but I think because that vp contains data (weapon tables?) for FS1, my FS2 mission ended up being broken.  I'm fairly sure the game automatically loads all VP files in the main folder, so I'd start there.  I moved the Ross128 mission's .vp into FSPort's sub-folder, and I was peachy thereafter.  Maybe you've recently downloaded a FS2-based mod/vp file and placed it in yours?  If so, it should just need to be in it's own sub-directory.

Hope this helps, though someone more experienced will likely have better suggestions...

Thanks for the welcome and the suggestion, guys.  I don't think this is my problem, though.  As far as I know I only have FS2_open and FSport installed.  In looking around the forum I've seen a few other threads where people reported strange things going on with their missions and it seems that someone usually requests a post of the directory and files, so here is mine.   Thanks again for the help and support!

EDIT: If it helps, I also had the problem in the advanced training mission of not having any Interceptor missiles, but I just skipped that.

Well, I'm not sure what the problem was, but a fresh re-install fixed it.

EDIT: If it helps, I also had the problem in the advanced training mission of not having any Interceptor missiles, but I just skipped that.

IIRC that problem had something to do with the fact that the particular advanced training mission is in the wrong place in the campaign file, or something. There was a thread a while back where Goober had posted some tuned up mission file. At least in my case it fixed the interceptor problem. So if you want, give it a shot.
