Karnak.pof causing problems
When i try to play the mission after the one where Jotunheim is destroyed, the game hangs at the loading screen with first of the "blocks" lit up. When i use the debug build there is a message in the upper left corner that says "ModelLoad: Karnak.pof".

This has come up before. The game needs to generate a cache file for the Karnak model, which, depending on your system, can take some time. Just leave it be, eventually, it will continue loading.

It took me five mins the first go, I installed 2GB more RAM and it loaded like every other mission.

Nono, the reason it takes so long is that the first time the model's loaded it generates a quick-load cache file, to be used subsequently. It never does that again.
Gettin' back to dodgin' lasers.

Nono, the reason it takes so long is that the first time the model's loaded it generates a quick-load cache file, to be used subsequently. It never does that again.

Unless you clear your cache folder. Then you have to wait, and if you play multi people get mad at you :p
