crash while loading "Last stand"

This is expected behavior, due to a hack we used in this mod.  However, you should be playing the campaign with a release build, not a debug build.

I've fixed the debug build in SVN so as not to cause a crash though.

Yes, _d stands for debug, whereas _r stands for release.

I'm not sure what your glibc problem is.  You might want to post in the FS Support forum about that.
