Playing FSport without mediavps crash
Hi, since my mb died and its on RMA now, i plugged my MSI U230 netbook my 23" monitor. The only way i can play in 1920x1080 is playing without any mediavps, so that's why I'm selecting the fsport folder instead of fsport_mediavps.

Everything is in a fresh install in 3.6.12. The problem is i experiencing some crashes in the tech room while viewing some models, and while attempting to load the "advanced training 4" mission, Ive played ok until this mission.

Switching back to mediavps fixed the problem, and since it was a training i just skipped it and switched back to no mediavps, so far so good.


BTW, good job in improving no mediavps details :)

Crashes in the tech room, eh? Which models are giving you problems?

And please run a debug build and post your FS2open.log. It will help us troubleshoot.

Leviathan, its the only one (by now, there are some locked Shivan models).

And the Advanced Training 4, the mission i couldn't load , if my memory is good, features a Leviathan shooting missiles at the player.

Indeed, that would be the model. Can you please post your debug log when it crashes? Perhaps the model is corrupted... most model errors would give you strange behavior, not CTD.

DERP

Awakenings and Destiny of Peace each need to be in their own separate mod folders (such as fsport-awakenings or fsport-dop) and NOT in the main FSPort folder. You have data conflicts.
