Using latest version of the Port and FS2_Open, there is no model for the GTC Leviathan [or GTC Fenris]. With no model, they can't be hit by weapons fire, and I had to ~K them to finish Silent Threat.

What are you talking about?  The Leviathan model is the same as the Fenris.

I played through both Silent Threat and the main campaign before releasing 2.3, so I know they work.

Could be a table screwup or something. I know I wasn't hallucinating, so I'll reinstall and play Silent Threat again, and see if it happens again.

It was just kinda freaky, a Shivan Super Laser passing through the Vidar like it wasn't there... The @##%@# thing was targeted no more than 50 meters in front of me, and no model was showing. Same for the Odin and Vili. Ugh.

EDIT: Screenie added.

No the model is definately there in memory, as it's being used for both the thruster plumes and the target box.  The bigger question is why is it not being rendered.  Like there is a texture element missing or something (the Fenris textures have shine/glow maps, don't they?) Not that this has much to do with rendering, but have you created a new pilot recently?

Are you using the upgraded High Poly Fenris model?

I had this too with some Shivan craft, but this was after playing for ages. I suspect some sort of memory leak was preventing the model/textures/something from being loaded?

pcx32 is something to be avoided, AFAIK. everyone uses -jpgtga anyway.

-pcx32 is highly reccommended for those who want nice interface graphics

-jpgtga is for those that want special effects (like pretty much all of my stuff) or other hi-res images to work.
