Found this site on a search for textures. It has a bunch of those that you can use free of charge. It also has some really good tuts and even free models.

What he said...  "besides" Swifty's initial posts... which are really just ways of rehashing the existing HUD.

Got another UV Mapper here UV Mapper Classic, which is free.

A tutorial on it's use as well.
