How do I add this model to my existing game? Copy the folders contained in the ZIP file under the MediaVPs \Data folder?

Yes, but check maps folder. There are higher resolution files in ares4x2k folder. If you want use them, just copy and overwrite files in maps folder.

Re: The Highest Definition Potato
I copied the folders for this model under the Data folder of the MediaVPs, but when I go to the Tech Room, the old model is still there - gnarly skin with candy-apple-red paint and all.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: The Highest Definition Potato
The problem is, the Ares pof is literally named Ares.pof.  In order to actually swap the old with the new ingame you need to rename it to  bonus2t-02.pof
Makes missions sometimes.

Re: The Highest Definition Potato
No, you need to use the table file and put it in data\tables. The download has everything sorted properly. Just copy all 3 folders and paste them in your data folder.

Re: The Highest Definition Potato
I tried it both ways, leaving everything as-is and copying the 3 folders under the \Data folder of the 4.3.3 MediaVPs and also renaming the .pof file and table file entry to the "bonus" filename mentioned by Strygon, but neither method allows the new Ares model to appear in-game - I still only see the old version.

Guess I'll just wait for the next MediaVPs update that will already contain the new Ares model.  :blah:
