Has anyone tried the Evochron Mercenary game yet? your input will be appreciated :hammer:
-
A hell of a lot of Team Fortress 2, at the moment.
-
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Halo:Reach
- Close Combat: The Longest Day
- Flight Simulator X
In no particular order.
-
Doom 2 online via Skulltag.
OP's question and topic do not match.
-
Sudoku.
Not only does it not match, but it's on the wrong board.
-
Total War Rome or Medieval 2 and FIFA 2010 from time to time...
My copy of Reach hasn't arrived yet, so I've shunned all information regarding it so far. o_o
-
I play...
Wait, It's been a long time since I've played something else than fs.
Hell I wouldn't even play FS if it wasn't for all those new releases.
-
Sudoku.
Not only does it not match, but it's on the wrong board.
The topic question matches well enough, if not the content of the post. :p
-
A fair bit I play. Let's see....
Loads of Team Fortress 2, Alien Swarm, Mafia 2 and Killing Floor :p
-
My favor are:
Turrican 1-3+3D,Settlers2TNG,Rule the Rail,Dungeonsiege1,2,BW and Dragonflight....
Doom,Doom II,Finaldoom TNT,Plutonia and Doom III.
-
HW2 (vanilla, Complex and other mods including mine), Halo Reach, some Halo 1 PC when it's installed, and loads of little games like Tetris or Breakout-styles games when I'm bored at school (ie very often). I used to have spent quite a lot of time on HL2 and Portal too.
-
apart from fs2 ...
DotA
stalker or Nexus from time to time
parpaing_beta5
... I don't play that much these days.
-
ArmA II, Dawn of War, Descent and Silent Hunter (yes, the original one).
-
Mostly a combination of;
BF:BC2.
Civ V.
The Last Remnant.
FFXIII.
Borderlands, and
Heroes of Newerth
At the moment...
Hopefully I'll be finished with TLR 'soon'(tm); going for perfect save, so freaking hard on the PC to get a hardcore mode perfect save.
-
In no particular order of preference
Homeworld 2
Master of Orion 2
UFO: Afterlight
UFO Enemy unknown
X-Com Apocalypse
Thresh wars - http://www.threshwars.com/
Bejewelled 2
Zelda and the phantom hour glass
-
Halo Reach (I love halo :d)
And Sins Of A Solar Empire (One of the best space RTS games I hav ever played)
-
Fallout 3 and FS2 are the only games I play nowadays.
-
Three series are all I need: Halo, FreeSpace, and Mass Effect.
-
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and SimCity 4.
-
Civ V
Borderlands
GLtron (multiplayer on the same machine)
Frozen Throne
New Vegas
Just finishing up FEAR 2 so I can delete the sad sequel off my HDD, and still occasionally launch Crysis if I get an urge to tweak stuff.
-
Your computer can handle Crysis?
You bastard.
-
There are games that aren't Freespace? :wtf:
-
Stomping through Nehrim at the moment.
-
lolno. It benches "island" at 26 fps 1024x600, mix of low and ultra via heavy tweaking, 0xAA, 8xAF. A few custom shaders here and there.
Hence, that's why it's still on my computer for tweaking purposes. I took many, many hours to get it to look/run as good as it does for a Mobility 3650 HD and P8600, and I like to think that there's more I can find/do with it. This game single-handedly taught me everything I know about common rendering effects/terms and their approximate performance cost.
-
What do I play when not playing FS2?
Far too many games to list. Though currently Mushihimesama and Disgaea are favorites. I'm also replaying .hack//GU whenever I have extended periods of time to do something (RPG's are time-wasters).
-
Modern Warfare 2
Homeworld
Journeyman Project 3
Starcraft 2
-
Journeyman Project 3
Woo! Fellow Journeyman fan.
-
i've lately been on a C&C crunch. mostly 3 and generals: zh. i WAS a fairly regular Combat Arms player, but it seems the designers are trying to deliberately make it unplayable. every update makes it worse.
others include
Crysis (and Warhead)
Halo PC
Far Cry
FEAR (all of them)
Descent (all of them)
occasionally Lock On
-
I just finished Medal of Honor. Other then that, when I have time to play games, then its KoTOR II, Dragon Age: Origins ... Not alot, come to think of it.
-
And Sins Of A Solar Empire (One of the best space RTS games I hav ever played)
I agree, but it takes to long to finish one game. >_<

I can play Crysis at slightly below highest settings. :nervous:i've lately been on a C&C crunch. mostly 3 and generals: zh. i WAS a fairly regular Combat Arms player, but it seems the designers are trying to deliberately make it unplayable. every update makes it worse.
Playing any other mods?

League of Legends
Thought I am pretty bad
Mass Effect2
Haven't tried the Vanguard class. Find it pretty bad so far but at its the first time my face looks somewhat good ^_^
Wing Commander 1 Kilrathi Saga edition
Sadly it runs just a bit to fast. Not so fast that its unplayable but fast enough that it becomes a "workout session" instead of fun ! Man I have build up some muscles since I played it again.
Future games to be played more regular:
Borderlands
At least I will play it again as soon as I got myself the Claptrap expansion
Fallout: New Vegas
Might drop ME2 in favor of this. I played through ME2 2 or 3 times allready ^_^)

League of Legends

Play a few weeks of HoN, then go back to LoL, you'll win almost every game ;\
-
Recently?
VGA Planets
Halo: Reach
Front Mission Evolved
-
Guess I can add another one to the list, since I finally picked up and finished Chrono Trigger (I'd left things right before the final boss fight for several months). I'm not even an RPG fan per se, but it's easy to see why this game is considered one of the best ever made. Now I get to go back and play through it again to see how many of the alternate endings I can track down. :D
-
Minecraft.
-
Bass.
-
I'll assume these are the fallback games, the ones you keep coming back to?
- Civ II
- Ace Combat Six
- Total Annihilation
- Journey Man Project Time Turbo/Buried in Time
- Dawn of War
- Rome Total War
- Rainbow Six Vegas II
-
I didn't, those are just the ones I'm playing at the mo x_x;

There are at least 12, not including similar ones with minor variations. I only found 5 of them without guides.
Have fun! :D

Playing any other mods?
i've never played any C&C mods. i did watch one of the uber C&C nerds at my high school play something one of them made for RA2 that involved sniper monkeys that could run across the map in something like half a second. and all the maps were literally covered in ore, every last inch.
-
Civ V
Aquanox 1 & 2 (yay Steam, boo not having the music)
Dawn of War 2, working on a second, better run for the release of the next expansion. Stuff carries over probably.
COH skirmish, Eastern Front mod. Still haven't figured out the Russians. The EF team swears they're trying to balance the game but they couldn't balance better than Relic if Relic spotted them two hands and an eye.
Alien Swarm. I will one-man that cargo elevator someday.
Arkham Asylum. I'm the goddamned Batman! The other computer ran it a little slow, which was coolly cinematic, but fights on the new one, with the rapid-fire Batman beats the hell out of twenty guys at once, make more sense to watch.
Recently finished Lost Planet 1. Perfectly good minimecha and infantry combat game ruined by JRPG plot.
-
i really haven't touched freespace much in the last few months. but as for gaming in general, i seldom play games longer than a couple hours a week. but lately ive been hooked on whatever mechwarrior games i can get my hands on. its actually ended a 2 year binge on classic starcraft.
-
At the moment, Metal gear solid 3 and Persona 3 FES.
-
lately:
STALKER CoP
starcraft2
Halo:reach
CoD 4 and W@W, MW2 was a PoS I'm glad I never spent $ on, look forward to black ops though.
Bad company 2 (because it fun)
Battlefield2 proper
forza 3

Well, Contra is a good C&C mod. Very aggressive and challenging AI, compared to the original, anyway, and they know how to use their new units.

Tiberium Essence (http://www.moddb.com/mods/tiberium-essence) and Tiberian Apocalypse (http://www.moddb.com/mods/tiberian-apocalypse) are a couple good-looking C&C3 mods that re-do the sides to make them more unique by using TibSun stuff as a base and expanding from there. There's also a Generals re-make mod for C&C3 (http://www.moddb.com/mods/cc-generals-evolution).
-
well, mostly F:NV, and empire: total war ( a totally epic game btw )
-
Been playing a lot more FS recently thanks to TVWP, but other occurences are:
Supreme Commander (Forged Alliance and 2)
Starcraft 2
The occasional match of Halo Reach
Empire at War
Minecraft (I'm very much addicted to it at this point)
Dawn of War 2

you know, that made me think i'd like to see a mod that makes tiberium behave like it did in 1 and 2; grow from ANY place it is present and not have a limit on how far it spreads. did 3 kinda feel like a weird blend of all of the universes to anyone else too?

A game called life.

A game called life.
I heard the graphics and physics engine were very impressive and could actually run at fluent framerates for all hardware. NPC AI is supposed to be several times better than that found in FEAR. Gameplay supposedly sucks though, so I didn't try it out. Lots of people complained about too much grinding.

If you play certain classes or origins you're just totally ****ed, and those get assigned randomly. No way you can get anywhere. And you have to grind for hours to get even mid-tier content. Forget endgame, you basically have to get lucky with your start.

i am the pwnage, *****es.
/me proceeds to airspank monitor and behave like a massive cock.
What better way is there to play Life than as if you were playing any other rendition of Grand Theft Auto?

Minecraft (I'm very much addicted to it at this point)
I am so, so looking forward to this weekend's update!

I'm not hearing about any massive shootouts lately, you're doing it wrong!
