As is known amongst all of the Hard Light Productions community there are a number of gamers of varying ilk amongst our ranks. I propose this thread be stickied so that members of this esteemed community can advise others of achievements, heroism and acts of amazement with displays of proof to be entered into the permanent record of this esteemed fighting establishment.

My best game ever was in a Pzkmpf 38n.
Killed like 8-9 enemy tanks, half of them at the end when it was only me left.
I still have no idea how I pulled it off.

This battle actually wasn't going too well until I returned to the base and started trying to hold the many remaining enemy tanks off. Those kills on the T-34 and AMX 13 AM were pretty lucky (the former was a shot to the back that I didn't have time to aim at, the latter setting the SPG on fire before it killed me point-blank). Our M41 HMC did pretty well too, though, so I won't take all the credit for pulling the win off.

oldies, but goodies. one of three games i ever really played online more than a couple times. definitely the first i was ever dominant in. and the last if i think about it, cuz the only other one i was really good at turned pay-to-win shortly after i started playing. man, if it wasn't 4am i'd boot it back up and see if there are any stragglers still playing.

Awesome, never played Halo multi but did enjoy blasting through the single player on PC.
Another awesome match with my Matilda in WoT. while the results are not so special, I wound up in a situation on half health tackling the Matilda, the A-20 and the Pz. IV D at the same time, only the Pz rolled away and that was on 10% health and was mopped up soon after by a TD rushing to my aid.

Insurgency. Great game actually, surprised me with that. Coop play is challenging and you really need to communicate with your team in order to be effective with it

Not entirely sure what you mean, but I'm going under the guess that you mean no map, no hud, having to listen for the enemy and ensuring all directions are covered lest there's a hole and your entire squad dies?
There's still objectives on screen though

1. I beat all 6 levels of Super Hexagon.
2. I sent Jeb to Duna without a spaceship (http://imgur.com/a/0Df0O#0) once.

4. I survived a never-level-up run of Dark Souls, including all of the DLC being played for the first time.

My win-loss ratio in the Tournament mode of Jurassic Park Builder is 80-0. Unfortunately, the game is not working here at the moment, and at the end of each league all stats are reset. I can't take any screenshots proving this. :(

While I don't actually have any sort of proof that I did this as it was done a few years back on PS3... I beat Hardcore mode in Dead Space 2 in one single playthrough from start to finish *without dying* in about eight hours

One of my last games of DotA2 (I got into the Heroes of the Storm Alpha which I find a more enjoyable than DotA for some reason) - Not only did I achive 17/3/22 in a game with 4 PUGs, but I also eclipsed both Carries in my team as Support Lich :D

sniff sniff, I smell nerf bait, aside from 1 dp that was all due to the card's own effect. for those who dont know in hearthstone you start with 30hp each. The card in question is a 6/6 for seven, double the attack of the card each time it takes damage.

After it was announced that the E25 was being removed from the store and gift shop, I decided to pick one up. Two days in and I got my ace tanker in what was a glorious battle. I had one shell left at the end when the dust settled.

I love playing low tier battles in Hearthstone 'cause they dont spot stuff like the Stalagg+Feugan deathrattle=Thaddius combo and when they do they rarely deal with it properly so say hello 11/11 Thaddius. Pulled him 2 games running, first one took one look and gg on the spot, second one thought they could handle it, the screeny proves otherwise. didnt help the second player that in that one I also pulled Kel'Thuzad nonsense as well

Was feeling pretty bad when both our t10 platoons ran into the entire enemy team in the magic forest and got murdered taking only one tank with them.
Having an Obj 140 and Lorraine 40t hiding behind me the entire time using me as cover to poke shots from even though I wasn't lit also did not give comforting thoughts.
And then the T-62A runs into the forest from the opposite flank, lights them all up in the open, and I farmed the sweet sweet damage.

Your statement would hold true if I had not been forced to replace my keyboard recently with one designed for Windows 8, which has no screenshot key and must be switched to a mode where the F keys don't work and then use alt and the insert key to take a screenshot.

Allies crossed a lot of soldiers in front of a heavy MG-42 team, and remained quite happy to stay surrounded by another 6 teams.
Interesting little game, always enjoyed the series.

That last enemy Grille, though... I'm not sure what they were thinking. They'd tracked me and I couldn't hit them from where I was sitting, and then moved into my line of fire giving me the win. I suppose it's possible that they thought they wouldn't be able to reload before I got going again...

While a Draw might not look impressive I halted a +98% Cap with a max range main battery shot on a Fuso who I subsequently sank with my torps. The rest of my team had already melted away and I was shipping water up to my gunwales to boot, but I turned an absolute curb stomping into a draw and walked away with the most XP of the match. A fish hit count like that is regular business for a good Minekaze skipper pulling off these results with Hatsuhara is quite a bit more challenging for me at least.
Games like this really make up for a lot of the short comings of post Minekaze IJN DDs

I swear for the love of god I hate this frikking tank
I feel you, man. That tank is terrible. Giant, slow, no side armor, no front armor against anyone with half a brain. I can't count the number of times I was spotted while leaving the cap circle before I could make it to the nearest piece of cover and instantly obliterated by Artillery/TDs/Autoloaders... It's got a decent gun, but really, even that's outdone by just about every other tier 8 TD. Damn thing's a grind to suffer through, that's for sure. I couldn't be happier to be done with it.
The T30 that comes after is great fun though - it has some mobility back, and a delicious, meaty alpha...if you can get the 155 to behave and not dunk half the shells into the dirt. That last part still gets on my nerve sometimes.

Now that's a medal I haven't seen before (Fadin's Medal - kill the last enemy tank with the last shell in your tank) outside of highlight replays on youtube and such.
Stars pretty much need to align, while driving a low-ammo-capacity tank to get one.
Yes I'm a dirty gold flinger. I'm using the stock gun with 232 regular AP pen at tier 10, of course I'm going to fling gold.
I think I'm going to need the 105 if I'm ever going to try and ace this thing. 30 rounds of 100mm shells doesn't quite have enough damage in them to do the ~7k damage you need for ace-ing t10 tanks.

Not played it that much, but I agree, the Lee isn't bad at all if you understand how to play it. I think that's the thing, though - you have to play the Lee as a TD and if you dislike TD gameplay you'll never click with it (and it doesn't share their characterstics like a smaller size or good camo).

yer I am having a lot more fun with the tank this time round, the height of the vehicle compared to the gun is proving frustrating but having a 6pdr (playing the grant) on a 2 second reload at t:4 is making for fun times, also having had fun playing the stug III / Jpz IV and the UK AT-# tanks I have a much greater appreciation for the tradeoff in flexibility vs firepower

I'm pretty mediocre/terrible at mediums, but sometimes I get the occasional stroke of luck where I get to farm damage off of low tier heavies.
My profit that game stank because I ran out of APCR shells and had to fire one or two HEAT into tier 7s. :doubt: A terrible waste.

You have a full turret, 279mm of front mantlet, and 10 degrees of gun depression to go with your absurdly large cannon. In a lot of ways you're a heavy tank, so feel free to poke over hills and whack things for huge alpha. Just don't shoot an M103 or T110E5 in the mantlet. It just won't work.

For a long time it was a heavy tank. The T30 was the American T10 heavy until the M103 and T110E5 showed up.

Okay so after some dumb connectivity issues (I didn't see TechnoD11 online and didn't notice the barely visible blinking message icon on the top) we did some mano e mano. Thanks to Gaijin we couldn't see each other chat and we ended up flying around into space a lot without much happening for long periods of time. End result for this was pretty much a tie. TechnoD11 used his BF-109's intelligently and my Zero's were suffering a lot in the chasing and jousting. If memory serves, the scores for the three games we did was 3-1, 3-3, 2-1 or something to that extend. The one arcade game we did together after that was TechnoD11 clubbing a lot of poor seals in which he had twice my kills (14). It was hard getting any kills in at the rate he was slaying them.
I accept him as my equal.

First 13* weapon acquired from running the new "eXtra-Hard" difficulty limited quest in PSO2 enough times, affixed (think re-rollable bonus stats) with an extra +110 Ranged Attack and +6 PP (mana) over the base 1321 R-atk, cost me well over 14 million, but hey, fluffy tail and fireworks!

Old 10* Vibrace Cannon from last year, with crummy/el-cheapo affix of +60 Ranged Attack only (along with +7PP).
Going to work on unlocking the latent ability (yellow thing in the second screenshot) for my new weapon, and acquiring a duplicate to increase its elemental damage bonus from 30% to 60%. It shall be glorious!

60% elemental damage (up from 30%) by getting a duplicate and fusing, and the latent ability unlocked from enhancing it to +10 a second time: 4% damage increase and 4% mana efficiency @lv1, goes up to 6% at level 3...but I don't have the upgrade materials for it :( nearly ran out and got stuck at +9 as it was due a bunch of "80% chance of success" failures :nono:

I really like the way the fluffy tail actually has...physics when running/jumping/rolling!
I wouldn't hold my breath for the NA version. With not a whisper of it at E3 and whatnot. I could help you with getting a ~70% translated version of PSO2JP, though. Could even get the item names/descriptions translated, I'm just too lazy to install all the patches (I recognize items by their picture anyway :P)

I got 3rd and 2nd on two local Smash Bros. tournaments yesterday.
Unfortunately, none of the matches for this week was uploaded. However, one game from last week was!

Well, MWO heat sinks are nerfed out the wazoo. Double HS aren't actually double, more like 1.4HS. On top of that, we had all overridden shutdown in desperation. My Dragon 1N is laying just to the right of that Jenner, dead from core meltdown.

Man these 15" guns are good once they ponderously crank around and lay on target. The CBT era Repair Party is nuts, I took over 80K damage over the match and still had about a quarter health left at the end.

The Screenshot may not be remarkable on its own but the story of leading up it is:
For those not in the know, this is from Heroes of the Storm's Towers of Doom-Map (which is a point-control map, on which the usual "destroy the Core" objective can only be completed by scoring wins on the objectives.). I was playing the Red Team' Keal'Thalas (mid range ability and AoE DPS carry).
While both Red and Blue teams were engaged in a 4v4 combat around the mid objectives (which as you can see the Red Team lost), the Blue Team's Li-Ming (mid to long range ability and AoE DPS - not a carry but fragile) and I were engaged in a fight on bottom objective. Red had a slight level advantage but still the fight Keal vs Li-Ming is quite stacked in favour of Li-Ming in this case (she has superior range and an escape option, while I only just gained the option to tank some damage, and because enemy team had to options to negate the high-damage Pyroblast-heroic of Keal's I opted not use it, had I chosen it maybe it would have been stacked in my favour).
And I won! Just barely still but the kill and the objective were mine... (I got swatted by an angry Blue Team only a minute later, so victory was short lived)
Then Red Team went on to win the game, and while I was not the MVP (I just never was were our tanks was) this was worth recording.

Heroes of Storm Pre-Season is finally over.... Time for some stats:
I finished ranked 32 (Player Segment 64-65 percent of the population; Season best was 31) with an almost even (356-355) win-loose. A pretty average showing, but I am a pretty average player.
Most Wins: 55 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 40 as Zagara (Ranges Specialist)
Most assists: 1269 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 476 as Zagara (Ranges Specialist)
Most kills: 219 as Keal'Thas (Ranged Assasin), runner up 173 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support)
Most deaths: 330 as Lt. Morales (Ranged Support), runner up 199 as Keal'Thas (Ranged Assasin)
Its a bit suprising that Zagara has so low metrics because she is the hero I play most... perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Ranked is a Draft-mode and I wound up as support often (hence the strong numbers of Morales). That Lunara has such a small presence is also kinda weird because I like playing her a lot more than I do Keal or Li-Ming and do so with more success (maybe that Lunara came out after Keal might have screwed the metrics a bit).
And the numbers on Morales ... well yeah, like playing her and she is one of the more powerful Supports in the game... what else can I say?
Best Map: Battlefield of Eternity, runner up Towers of Doom
Worst Map: Tomb of the Spider Queen, runner up Sky Temple
Worst Map is hardly suprising, I like neither battleground. That my percentage on Battlefield of Enternity is so high was a suprise but it also a map where Morales and Zagara seem to do particuarlly well.

German battleships always seem to be able to ram better. I've gotten more ramming kills in my Nassau, usually against high-tier ships, than I have in anything else against any ship.

So after myself and a couple cruisers fought our way through a flank's worth of enemies and contesting the cap our two Kongos decided that resetting our cap was a silly idea. Still I did get to jackknife a cheeky DD and an enemy battleship in a single torpedo salvo and that's always a hoot.

Seriously I just kited and tanked two Nor Carls, a Tirpitz, a Bismarck, a Fuso, a New Mex and a Penny Cola. Stayed angled just inside my redonkulous secondaries range (10K!) while bouncing absurd numbers of shells and punching them back with 38 cm AP. I tied up five BBs for nearly the entire game on a control point game, they didn't even bother capping. :P If I didn't run out of map, turn around and charge them I probably could have kited them into another match.

Yeah, those german bbs look sturdy as hell. But eventually everyone dies... they succumb fast to plunging fire, as a bb player you just need to keep'em at distance for as long as you can.
Starting with the Gneiss they all can make 30 knots or more, in a lot of cases German BBs can dictate the range. In fact the hardest thing is keeping your aggression in check. They can still be burned down with multiple fires and their torpedo protection is abysmal but angled against AP inside plunging range its bananas.

At Tier VIII the revenue stream starts to get a bit tight before precipitously falling into the red at Tier IX. Gone are the CBT days when I bankrolled my Shimakaze purchase almost purely on Kagerō matches. Its worth keeping some comfy Tier V-VIIs in the stables to grind credits or get a high Tier Prem like Torpitz, Scharners or Atago-a-go-go.

Well I'm only up to the König myself. I've come across Gneisys on my Nagato a few times and as I told ya, as long as you don't show broadside and keep your distance, they are outclassed in the BB role. On a cruiser however, that thing is a dreaded sight.
Fast reload + fast&nimble + sturdy = CA decimator.

Yeah, she is slower, has lesser range and so on, but I soloed a Bayern and heavily damaged a Nagato before some pesky DD thought about ruining my day.
Can't wait for the B hull on my Gneisenau.

I took my Griffin 2N out and wrecked face tonight. Fired 666 SRMs on Terra Therma, overrode three auto-shutdowns, turned 325 tons of enemy mechs into 325 tons of scrap, and survived the match. I'd call that a good sortie.

Nope. I'm not that consistently good. My match score in that particular match was about three times my average. Though I will say, if I ever start to get self-conscious about my leaderboard position, that Griffin is the mech I'll take out to drag my numbers up.

But it's okay. I burned missed that particular memo, so I still get to kill everything.
Also, if you are leading a team on HPG Manifold and see a 12ERSL Nova chase one of your teammates outside of the main wall, don't then proceed past the gap in the wall, through which the Nova exited. I got four kills in rapid succession, because the entire hostile team gave me their backs. I believe parliamentary procedure requires that I add, "Get wrecked, fools."

I've been at it for hours today, and I finally beat a Grand Prix on Master difficulty in F-Zero Maximum Velocity. :)
My prize is a new ship, the Falcon MK-II, which looks to be superior to the other ships I have. I beat the Pawn Grand Prix with the Sly Joker.
It's a great feeling to smash through old gaming walls! :pimp:

I just beat the same Grand Prix on Master in one attempt with the new ship. I have high hopes of further progress.
I've never played the original F-Zero, but I've seen it, and Maximum Velocity is very much in the same mould. Great soundtrack and silky smooth framerate. It's a joy to play, and I've been thinking about how the game's limitations might actually make it a better gaming experience than if those limitations weren't there. The AIs don't use the boosts you get every lap. So to compensate, on the higher difficulties, they're faster than you at max speed when not boosting. So this means when you're not boosting, you're in a constant battle to block them from overtaking you. Then you get the boost and you have to make sure you don't screw up and get past the ones in front. And the fact the game spawns the AIs in and out depending on circumstances also works to make it a better experience than if they were all racing around the track, because it rewards your skill in blocking. If say you only let a couple past you then boost, you'll soon be catching up to 2nd, even if 2nd left you behind ages ago. You'll never just end up in a stretch of track with no one near you.

I've beaten them all. The Knight GP fell quickly, but the Bishop GP was another wall that took many attempts. That just left the Queen GP, which I thought was going to be a massive slog. But after beating it comfortably on Expert (a target I set myself on all the GPs that I feel I needed to meet to be ready to attack Master) I surprised myself by succeeding on the very first try, just now.
I unlocked one more ship, the Fighting Comet. That's a ship for a true master. It's got the slowest speed, joint worst turning and second worst durability but the fastest boost speed with the second longest boost duration.
I'm not done with the game yet, I'll see if I can get through with any of the other ships, but the main goal is completed. :)
