First ever song creation - Where Hope dies
Hi everyone.

I heard much of the program Magix Music Maker and wanted to try it, so I downloaded the demo of version 12. I played a bit with my creativity and arranged a song, so I bought the full version and continued my work. The final outcome was a song that totally impressed me and so I decided to release it for everyone to listen. The song first was called "All Battle's End", but I was told that song's melody is getting stronger and some sort of a big boom is expected, so the name doesn't fit and therefore I decided to rename it to "Where Hope Dies" which fits better.

Here the song: Belisarius - Where Hope Dies

I don't know really in which genre I can put this, so I'd say it's some sort of epic symphony. Feel free to comment it, so I can read your opinion about it. :) I've finished a second arrangement already and it's more an ambient song, but I haven't found a name yet for it, so you have to wait for it a little bit. Here the stats for the current song:

Format: MP3
Length: 4:48 minutes
Filesize: 6,59
Bitrate: 192 kBit/s

Have fun listening :)

If you want to use that song for own projects, please let me know.

Hey, that's actually not bad. Would not be bad background music for many things.

Pretty good, especially for the first thing you felt release worthy.  The beginning and end are good, but I found the middle a bit repetitive.

I can't help but hear a shotgun cocking with this.

That is very impressive stuff! It all fits together quite nicely, with no particular instrument or tune overpowering the rest. I like it.

Oh wow, this is rather epic, indeed!  I can easily see it being used in a game soundtrack to accompany a big battle or something of that sort.

As Scourge said, I like that no particular instrument feels overpowered, and it all flows together very smoothly from start to finish.  On top of that the sound quality is pretty good, too.  One thing I'd like to hear a little bit more of are the vocalizations, but that's just a personal feeling of mine.

Altogether very good work.  You've got some nice musical talent. :)
In my world of sleepers, everything will be erased.
I'll be your religion, your only endless ideal.
Slowly we crawl in the dark.
Swallowed by the seductive night.

Oh wow, this would work very well in FS. Probably one of the best "first songs" of the internet...

I have to admit that it's quite easy to create music tracks with the Magix Music Maker, because you get good results quite quick. However, it took me weeks to finish that song plus a few days to polish it.

Anyway, I thank you all for the good review. :)
