https://github.com/blog/1938-git-client-vulnerability-announced
(Where I heard about it (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/232813/Heads_up_GitHub_has_a_security_vulnerability_in_its_client.php?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+GamasutraNews+%28Gamasutra+News%29))
Just saw this and wanted to get the word out quickly as possible to the coders on here as I recall some of you use GitHub. Thanks and sorry to barge in (this seemed a good place to put it; If there's anywhere better do let me know and pass it on.).

No need to apologise! It's great to spread the word about vulnerabilities like this

Man, I've been using github for about 3 years and I didn't even knew it had its own client GUI :P
Well, time to update git I guess. Thank you very much.

I'm unclear on whether this affects only their own git client or all git clients.

All clients.
