Disable In-Flight Pilot Animations

First of all, awesome game you guys have here.

I have a problem though; when the in-flight pilot animations (the bobbing heads during comms) appear it slows my game down noticeably. Once that animation stops the game speeds right back up to normal.

Is there way to disable those in-flight animations?

You should be able to disable the "head animations" from the options menu.

F2 -> HUD Config
Click on the example head ani & select off (lower left, the other two options are on and popup)
