The Zann Consortium is unbelievably OP as just about every unit they have is better and cheaper than the Rebellion and Empire ones, plus they don't even need to conquer the galaxy to win, just corrupt it all.

Well apparently even at 1024x768 and everything turned down to minimum, I can barely get a playable framerate out of GoatSim on this old fossil. Welp.

Just use the plasma cutter alone.

There is no need for any other weapon.

i used it a lot in 1, but it seemed much weaker in 2.  also i kept running out of ammo.  the seeker rifle and line gun were my go-to weapons in 2.  seeker rifle moreso because it was hard to keep enough ammo for the line gun.  force gun in the 4th slot for crowd control.

Little tip about Deadspace ammo

The less guns you have, the less types of ammo spawn. Sure you'll get the occasional random one, but fewer guns equates to fewer ammo spawns in lockers

Line gun is also very handy to have in your inventory because the ammo sells for a lot

in 1 i only ever got ammo for the guns i was carrying, but in 2 i got ammo for ones i never even bought, much less carried.

You play as a goat, but I'm guessing by what's being described here it's actually a play on words for Greatest Of All Time Sim. There was a thread on it a bit ago. With a video and lots of goat puns.

I spent several hours today with the original Red Alert, after finding out about PortableRA (which fixes all the crashes I normally get with my custom mod) and the Flame Dancers campaign (really good story, although most of it is chapters of text in a custom viewer app that needs Dosbox to work).
