Yesterday I finally managed to beat Elana, Squalid Queen (bloody hard due to her summons and the lack of Coop Phantoms) and Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon (comperatively easy for Dark Souls Dragon fight) in Dark Souls II's Crown of the Sunken King DLC with my NG+ Pyrmonacer/Sorcerer

Now grinding myself through Crown of the Iron King's Brume Tower; I've got 4 pieces of Nadalia's Soul already but yet have not encountered any boss or access to the challange route...

EDIT: I arrived at the base of the tower and at the Fume Knight boss ... however I ran out of Smelter Wedges and there is still the eleventh Ashen Idol to deal with; Anyone know where I can get more Wedges?
(Since this is Dark Souls I guess the 11th Wedge is behind the Fume Knight?)

Jane's F/A-18. It's actually pretty fun. If only I could be able to rapidly switch HARM targets in TOO mode so I don't get swatted out so easily... maybe I should leave it in Self-Protect...

EDIT: Nah, never mind. Turns out if I want to switch HARM targets, I have to click the MFD containing it first. D'oh.

World of Tanks.  My Clan did clan wars tonight.  I was the battle caller.

My clan now owns territory on the global map for the first time.

After days of trying I finally vanquished the Fume Knight in Dark Souls 2 thanks to members of the Heirs of the Sun Covenant (don't worry I've been doing stuff in between), yet Nadalia's Soul is still incomplete (11 of 12 discovered pieces, still lacking the last Smelter Wedge) ... now grinding down Challange Route and the Memory of the Iron King, both Bosses encountered and it appears I've to raise my Faith stat for those

- Ancient Dragon
- King Vendrick
- Sir Alonne
- (Blue) Smelter Demon
- Dual Persurers
- Cave of the Dead Trio

With all these X-COM threads, I finally started a game of Enemy Within. My first assault spent half the game wounded due to poorly timed blitzes, then promptly EARNED the callsign "Mad Dog".

With all these X-COM threads, I finally started a game of Enemy Within.

Same! I started playing on "Classic" difficulty and Ironman mode. Party wiped and restarted the game a few times, then got going well enough to start "Portent" a few times. Wiped every time, had to restart the game each time. Gave up, turned off Ironman.

The beauty of those options is the fact you can turn it off *mid playthrough*

Wanted some quick shooting action to unwind.

Originally started playing Blood One Whole Unit. Got frustrated when I was given **** weapons to go up against one-hit kill enemies ("Hey player, use your pitchfork to attack this guy carrying a machine gun and throwing dynamite (and yes, I found the dynamite secret. Didn't make it much more fun)).

Then tried to boot up Metro 2033 but instead apparently booted up a steam update despite choosing to play offline.
Then Steam asked me to restart the program, I responded by telling Steam to go **** itself and booted up Slave Zero from GOG.


Slave Zero is a great game so far. Exactly what I wanted though a bit easy (even on hard)
