Slave Zero keeps crashing during some damn escort mission.
Tried to play Blood on a lower difficultly but the rats are stupidly annoying. Game has auto aim ala Doom but it doesn't autoaim at the rats for some reason.

So started playing the original Carmageddon instead. Doesn't seem quite as good as Carmageddon 2 but the sprites and the driver sounds are interesting.

it's a little late now, but tomorrow i'm going to venture into a new game from my backlog.  haven't decided which yet.  the front runners are metro last light and crysis 3.  KOTOR is also crying out to be played, but i think i'm going to be much more in a shooter mood.

It took shenanigans with PPJoy, GlovePIE, and a program that stops the mouse moving to the second monitor in order to get it to play like Freespace. But I'm loving every minute of it.

I have completed Dishonored's Dunwall City Trials, with 3 star ratings and all achievements for all challenges.

It was only marginally less frustrating (and ultimately satisfying) than the Clash in the Clouds Bioshock Infinite DLC.

Onto Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches!

I started playing Achron. It's an RTS with time travel in it. Time travel has always been a fascination of mine, so games like this, Chrono Trigger, and the tabletop game Continuum appeal to me.

The idea is that there is a seven minute mutable time period where you can basically time travel with impunity. Changes made in the past are propagated to the future by time-waves. So basically you can suicide scout in the future, then cancel the order in the past, and when the time-wave hits your scout hasn't moved, but you remember what was where the scout never went. Time does keep moving forward (somehow) and as it does the past gets locked off.

I've given myself a tremendous headache trying to think in four dimensions but it's a stupid amount of fun.

just completed crysis 2 replay in preps for crysis 3.  i've replayed it several times before, but for whatever reason, i was REALLY bored by it this time.  it hasn't aged well.  considering 3 is by all accounts i've heard a pretty lazy tack-on to 2, i don't hold out much hope of being greatly entertained.  but play it i shall.  hell, i was wrong about 2.

Ten... what?  But yeah, I played a lot today and it's not very good.  Expansion pack to 2 maybe.  Won't be purchasing this.  Might go back and replay 1/warhead though.  Remind myself how good it used to be.

Although if anyone else has played this, maybe you can tell me, what happened to Nomad?  The intro said the only survivors of raptor team were Psycho and Prophet.  However Nomad was absolutely alive at the end of 1, and never even mentioned in 2.  Also, what happened to Alcatraz?  Did he just magically turn into Prophet?  Did he get kicked out of his own body?

Finished Slave Zero on hard.
It was fun until the final battle, which was unwinnable due to lack of ammunition and the battle itself was boring. Used cheats to win it and see the cutscene. This was an odd game where the later levels became less fun due to level design and enemy types.

Was a fun few hours but third act pretty weak.
