Yes.  Alpha Strike is the primary method for playing games in our group.  So much faster, so much simpler.

Earlier today I played a game at 600 points that ended up with eight Lances on the field.  We finished in less than two hours.

Finally got most of my Legendary Equipment except for the helmet and weapons.
Then, I found two exotic items from random engrams. Got my Exotic "Hard Light" Auto Rifle, and Exotic "Don't Touch Me" Gauntlets.

The Auto Rifle is neat, but I was hoping for a Scout Rifle instead.

Finished Borderlands sans DLC.  I already knew basically what it was going to be due to playing 2 first, but if I hadn't, I imagine that would have been a really ****ty ending.  Underwhelming final boss, then nothing happens.  No story closure at all.

Been playing FTL: Faster Than Light on and off since my bro gave it to me for Christmas. Finally unlocked the coveted Crystal Cruiser! Took it for a spin; it's a pretty good ship, but not as OP as a lot of people seem to think.

My BattleTech group has decided the only answer is mass insanity again.

After working out the total number of our available models comes in at about two reinforced regimental combat teams and a Clan Galaxy, we've decided the obvious thing is to use them all.

Next weekend, 8AM. We're using at least half of someone's backyard to get the space we need.

This will be the second multi-regimental game I've played in, and the first one was smaller.

Honestly, I have over 1100 models representing a reinforced RCT with infantry/armor/aerospace assets on my own. Everybody else except a couple people is in the battalion range, usually with just 'Mechs.

But then, nobody else in my group has any Unseen models either.
