I'm trying out Grey Goo courtesy of a Steam free weekend.  It's on sale for $20 instead of $50, so I hope to play enough to decide if I want to give it a pass, buy it now, or wait for further sales/price drops.

I really appreciate these free weekends (and Origin Game Time trials).  Since the death of the playable demo, I have had to resort to other unsavory methods of "try before I buy".  Ironically, often those versions have a better user experience than their legit but DRM-laden versions (I'm looking at you, every Ubisoft game I own), so I continue to use them even after a physical or digital purchase.

Sooo X-Blades was a freebie somewhere. Damn it's bad. You play as a character so dumb she brings apocalypse and has one of the worst skin materials ever. I've beat the first boss and then the game restarted the fight so whatever. Not good enough to even waste time on.

Just finished Heart of the Swarm and preordered Legacy of the Void. By god the online of that game is tedious to get into. So I've decided to get into something else, I saw the   new footage of Star Citizen and I've been getting into X3 and now I can't decide between the existing games.

Mostly Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance losing to the AI again and again.

Something must have changed between 3599 and 3603 because some of my fave mod vehicles don't shoot right or "act" right anymore, but I have no LUA or tool experience to be able to fix them (not to mention there likely isn't any plugin for the latest 3DS Max versions now - have to use the really old ones like 9 or something older than that).

No FAF please, I have zero intention of jumping into that community.

So WoT NA is running a KV5 rental period if you meet such and such criteria.  I remember back in Tier VI running into these things occasionally with my M4A3E8 pretty much bouncing HVAP off every surface.  Suffice to say MM is currently full of KV5s and now that I run Pershings and Pattons most of the time?

They're imitating the Abbot who carried my last game on his ****ing shoulders. I had a Leo 1 down to its last 5% HP, and the Abbot dragged us across the finish line with his effective use of smoke and three kills while we dealt with the six players left on the other team.

The king of battle indeed.

MGO on PS4, Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 1, Mugen Souls, Pillars of Eternity... too many games.
Add to that, I've got Fallout 4 on preorder.

Recently, I played through Sound of Drop -Fall Into Poison-, and that was interesting. Its pacing is a little odd at times, but it was a nice little Corpse Party Lite, in my opinion.

Technobabylon: Great sci-fi retro adventure game. I think it's the best Wadjet Eye game yet and is much longer than the others, although not as original or profound as Primordia.
Blur: Fun racing game, like Burnout but with powerups that give it more depth than the typical "realistic" racing games. The PC port is not great, with no key remapping allowed, but it does run stably and has no framerate caps.
Various C&C missions with 1.06 patch: A guy made this by disassembling the exe, adding higher resolutions and several other features. It comes with a bunch of extra missions.

Tried out that Card Hunter last night for 5-6 hours. Pretty addicting free to play gameplay but I can see the single player getting played out pretty quickly.
