Rim World :D
But I have a slight energy problem...
Did not expect energy being unable to be transfered over a long distance, so I rebuild my base next to my thermic reactor and still I have four generator fueled by wood and three solar penals... still not enough.
But pirate raids are a cakewalk, especially if you catch them in the open, just in the middle of a herd of bommalopes :D

The original Crysis, since it properly released now. It is really good, but it performs like an absolute ****, and the game actually looks nowhere near good enough to justify it. Someone never heard of optimisation, it seems. And never cared to correct their mistakes.

Yeah unfortunately Crysis is really tough to go back to these days. The movement and gameplay just aren't quite up to modern standards, even if the levels are pretty cool.

(play crysis 2 with battutamod!)

"Finished" Just Cause 3. That is, liberated everything and finished the story line. Also continuing Valkyria Chronicles, slow and steady.

More likely, this is a reference to its release on GOG.com.

What I always do when I return to play Crysis is to get two mods: Natural Mod and Ultra High Config Mod. The former improves the lighting, Time of Day settings and a bunch of other things, the latter improves performance a lot without visual quality loss. To me, these two together, on their own, can already make Crysis look good even for our spoiled 2016 eyes. I hope it helps for you.
I'm all about getting the most out of games, so whenever I discover something very strange or push the limits, I upload them here:

Pokémon X, after my sister disowned her save file. So I erased it and started from scratch because there wasn't anything left in her party or boxes worth trading over and I can't be bothered to get her roaming Moltres.

Re: What are you playing right now?
The 13-gig sized update for Elite: Dangerous 2.2 has killed my playtime of that for now........until I can recharge the data allowance on my connection to do it (Curse Australian internet.) But lucky me, the release of Brutal Doom 64 (Never played the vanilla Doom 64 on Nintendo 64, so its a whole new ballgame for me) during Haloween has given me something new to sink teeth into. If you happen to see a very char-grilled Wolf lying around in Hell, you know what happened. :P

More Kane's Wrath and I've been playing the new region locking free Mobile Suit Gundam Online: Taiwan. It's like headbutting your local brick wall, while gambling with ingame currency. Atleast it's not the Japan Server.

Started "The Suffering" a few days ago.
A 2004 horror shooter.

I do not like Horror at all. I am a real scaredy cat.

This is indeed a pure horror, especially because i play it with good old EAX. So even more sound effects.
My character is visited by visions all the time in this game, i fear that they will drive me crazy sometime during my playthrough/let's play  :nervous:

At least i managed to get to the fourth Level, somehow.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Finally finished Kingdom: New Lands.
Spoiler:
It just.. ends. No epilogue, no secret level, no nothing to close this off. Just credits. That's a disappointment of the year for me. What a shame. I will try to unlock last bonus there is left, but I know it won't trigger anything.

Re: What are you playing right now?
I finished Fallout 4. I generally love these games and the freedom they give you, and this one is no exception, but a lot of things have been dumbed down from New Vegas, with the entire skill and faction systems removed. There are too many generic kill/fetch quests and the player's dialogue is often bland, although quite a few are very good (like the Kellogg mind and USS Constitution ones). The main factions and their motives never make much sense, and I lost interest in the main quest halfway through but eventually finished it. Several mods are must haves, such as one to restore the old dialogue system. However, the combat feels better than in previous games and the numerous companions have good backstories and dialogue. Strong is hilarious. :D I also like how you can keep playing after the main quest ends, although I haven't gotten any of the DLC yet.

I disagree.  I still have tons of fun replaying Crysis.  I do have a little bit MORE fun by console-command modding the nanosuit to actually behave like a super-soldier suit though.  Extra health and energy so that you don't get killed by fewer bullets than the non-armored enemies and stealth/speed modes actually last long enough to be useful.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Crysis gameplay feels a lot better to me than most modern shooters. The maps are big and open ended, most objects can be interacted with or destroyed and you can save at any time which encourages experimentation.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Infinite Warfare is pretty fun so far.  At this point (two missions in) I've gunned down a short battalion of infantry and one squadron of aerospace fighters, and I don't give a single **** how unrealistic that is.

Guns that can switch between scopes and ironsights are cool and not present in the last entry in the series I played (Modern Warfare 2).  Space combat is really arcadey but also fun.  Seeker grenades make it really difficult to save grenade ammo.  Different crosshair color flashes to let you know whether you've scored a hit/debilitating hit/fatal hit are nice.  Characters are refreshingly not terrible (but not great either), military jargon sounds believable, and I've laughed a couple times already at some of the lines.

Not disappointed.

So you say it is worth of giving it a shot?
