I'm on I believe the 2nd mission where I'm targeting drones then shooting them.

Problem is I can't shoot. The default Left Crtl does not work, just doesn't shoot anything. I've tried changing the shooting key to other random keys, still doesn't shoot. I've tried cycling my weapons with "." and the other one, still doesn't work.

I just can't get the darn thing to shoot!

Any suggestions?

Are you using a non-qwerty keyboard layout ? Strange things can happen when you don't.

Are you sure you're meant to actually shoot them? The first tests are just to face and then to lock them up with a missile. It's only later in the mission you're meant to actually shoot them.

im having the same issue with the thrusters in the first mission, changing the controls did not fix the issue either

To be clear, were you instructed to use those controls you say are locked?  That is, did the instructor say to actually fire at the drone, or just target it?  In the training missions, if you're not supposed to use a control, it will be locked so you can't use it.

I believe that it's specifically stated that controls are locked for the time being...
